Discover the Artist Within
Think you’d like to try painting with watercolors but don’t
know how to begin? Have you tried it before but want to brush up on your
skills?
Always wanted to create that great piece of art but don’t
know where to start? Or maybe just didn’t think you had it in you but maybe you
do? Hitchcock Academy is hosting a watercolor class
led by instructor Susan (Zsa Zsa) Kallander.
This four week class will have you completing a watercolor
painting. Each student will paint the same picture under the instruction of the
teacher who will lead the participants on a path of artistic discovery while they
create their own watercolor.
Susan, a graduate of the Mass College of Art, has been
painting for most of her life, and is skilled in watercolor, oils, and pastels.
She has taught a variety of classes. In addition to her artwork, she is a
skilled crafter and has authored 3 children’s books as well as having
done the illustrations. She is the leader of HFA’s Tuesday morning Art Group
that is a group of artists who meet to encourage one another in their
painting.
