About This Ticket
In its 15th year, YFPA continues to deliver on the three pillars that define its mission as an organization—connecting and collaborating with local community partners; supporting the career development of Filipino professionals as well as the academic endeavors of Filipino high school students in the Bay Area; and serving the local communities through volunteering and stakeholder engagement. Last month, YFPA celebrated the 7th recipient of its annual scholarship award, as well as those students enrolling in summer immersion and baccalaureate programs through its partnership with the Academy of Art University.
On this night we celebrate with our partners as we raise money for next year’s YFPA scholarship recipients, the future progressive leaders that will initiate change in our community and beyond. Our honorary guest speakers include Juslyn Manalo, the Vice Mayor of Daly City.
Your Filipino Professionals Association (YFPA), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was launched in 2002 as a collaborative forum for Filipino-American professionals in the San Francisco Bay Area to connect, collaborate and support professional networking, educational and community service activities. The mission of the YFPA is to foster professional connections, ideas and expertise to support and engage Filipino professionals in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Our core values are: “Connect. Educate. Serve.” Ultimately, our purpose is to build a stronger, well-established and respected Fil-Am business community.
