Ra-Ve Cultural Foundation in collaboration with Fayetteville Public Library is excited to celebrate Deepavali (also called Diwali) on October 20, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm in the Art and Movement Room. Join us to watch a story about Deepavali presented in a traditional Indian theater style called "Yakshagana" and learn to make a traditional Indian "Diya" (lamp) with clay.
We will also have other fun Indian crafts and designs to share associated with the holiday. We have artists from our community and are inviting all local school kids to participate in this event. Come and celebrate this Diwali with your Ra-Ve family at the Fayetteville Public Library!
