The Grant Labs are a series of interactive workshops facilitated by grant-writing expert Kevin Seaman, wherein we explore the world of grants to build skills in grant writing and application submission. These workshops are designed to put theory into practice with participatory group activities and actual funder applications. Whether you attend a single session or the entire cumulative series, you’ll feel more confident in continuing to apply for grants that grow your artistic practice or organizational vision. Each workshop is limited to 10 participants and participants are highly encouraged to purchase the full series.
With 11 years of experience as an artist, grantmaker, administrator and advocate in the artistic sector of the San Francisco Bay Area, Kevin Seaman is seasoned in the local cultural landscape. Specialties include: applying for grants, grant strategy, grant-writing and building a relationship with funders; grantmaking and ensuring your grants have the maximum impact; artist development & support; event design & implementation; and workshop facilitation.
This Lab is created by Kevin Seaman in partnership with Intersection for the Arts and is not affiliated with any granting body or foundation.
