Picnic en Blanc is our signature fundraising event
Picnic en Blanc is a grand celebration to close out the summer, and also a benefit for Magical Bridge Playground Redwood City, that once completed, will welcome visitors and park goers of all ages, all sizes, and all abilities! This year Picnic en Blanc proceeds with be used to begin the innovative programming fund for the Magical Bridge Playground. Following the lead of the Palo Alto Magical Bridge Playground, the programming fund, among other things, will include a Kindness Ambassador Program for teens who will serve in the park to demonstrate kindness and inclusivity, be available to give tours, lead craft activities, serve as hosts at special events and strengthen our community one smile at a time. The fund will additionally support free, family friendly event programming at the park throughout the year.

As inspired by Dine en Blanc, a tradition that started in Paris, France, over 3 decades ago, we suggest that you wear casual all white attire. Men, don't worry, you may wear khaki if you don't own white! (Add some fun and whimsy with a splash of color in the form of a hat, scarf, jewelry etc.)
