Robotics Camp for rising 9th to 12th graders
Students will be hosted at Amazon Lab 126 and will participate in guided explorations into several distinct areas of project management and product development with a focus on robotics. Students will be organized into teams and work with engineers, scientists and staff to research and determine what the robot will be used for, and the manner in which it will accomplish. They will also learn to design the processes necessary for the robot to run correctly. Social activities and student team building exercises are also part of the week. This is a truly unique opportunity that allow students, engineers and staff to interact in such a way that enlightens everyone involved. The camp includes all supplies, a field trip, snacks and lunch, certificate of participation and a graduation & ice cream social. Closing ceremonies will be held on Friday at Amazon. Parents are encouraged to come to observe final presentations and graduation.
Drop off times are between 8:30 AM - 8:45 AM with NO EARLY DROPOFF. Pick up times are between 4 PM - 4:15 PM. Parents are responsible for transporting their child to and from Amazon. Students must be present at the precise time and location to fully participate in the Institute.
