The findings of neuroscience show us how our brain works, and the Buddha has taught us how to meditate effectively. When we combine these, and we can meditate without fighting our natural tendencies, meditation becomes much more enjoyable and easier. Using positive reinforcement, we can train ourselves to be more mindful and we can train attention to stabilize on whatever object we choose.
