Join us this fall in the forest! This
Saturday morning drop off program for K-5th graders will take place on the
Greenwich Land Trust’s Converse Brook Preserve property lead by educators, Laurel Scarlata and Kristen Paradise. The purpose of the
morning session is to create a time for children to slow down and spend time in
nature and discover the beauty of the forest. A culture of caring for oneself,
others and the land will be cultivated. Each morning session will involve
activities centering around what is happening in nature. The children are
invited to lead the way using all their senses as we create, sing, climb trees
and play games.
Registration is limited to 10 children with
two educators. Upon registration, an email will be sent with further
information regarding the program. A minimum of five children is required to
run the program.
The program runs rain or shine. Registration required.
Future date, 12/17. Inquiries email, [email protected]
