Meeting Worldly Conditions with Compassion and Equanimity 2
with Devin Berry and Jean Esther
Saturday, November 7; 10:00am-12:00pm
Suggested contribution: $8-25 registration + teacher donation*
In addition to silent meditation and formal compassion and equanimity practices we will explore our practice in the following ways:
How is it helping us to meet the ever changing internal and external conditions of our current lives as well as where do we tend to ‘get lost’ or disconnected from our practice? What practices feel most supportive to us on a path of liberation at this time? In this post election week, we look forward to joining with you in community at this morning session for engaged dharma practice and reflective inquiry together.
Register for one or both sessions.
*In keeping with the Buddhist tradition of dana (generosity), the suggested registration amounts for our classes and retreats (other than Wednesday night dharma talks) do not include any payment for the teacher. The teachers are paid entirely out of the students' generosity. Please consider giving a donation to the teacher in order to support their ability to continue to share the dharma. You may give a donation at the time of registration and give later donations through our teacher dana link. Everyone is welcome to all of our events regardless of ability to donate.
You can give online or send checks to InsightPV, 116 Pleasant Street, Suite 242, Easthampton, MA 01027. FYI: we check for mail once per week.
