Meeting Grief & Loss in These Times: Rooting in The Dharma
with Jean Esther

Suggested Donation: $5-25 registration plus teacher donation
During this holiday and winter season we are faced with worldly conditions that are unprecedented that may leave most of us face to face with a sense of loss and isolation even in the midst of employing our best coping strategies. How can we draw from the Buddha’s teachings and root in our dharma practice so that our grief doesn’t leave us immobilized but actually leads us to a deepening level of peace?
Please join Jean on December 12 for meditation, dharma teaching and collective inquiry into this question. While this will be geared to experienced practitioners, all are welcome.
Rooting in the Dharma
How do we meet our lives as they are radically
changing before us, impacting us individually and globally in ways we
may understandably be unprepared to navigate? How can the Buddha’s
2500 year old teachings help?

This series may be attended as a whole
or as individual drop in sessions by themselves. For experienced
practitioners and beginners. The specific topic will be announced later. This
is a drop-in offering, not a course. You can register, but it is not required.
*In keeping with the Buddhist tradition of dana (generosity), the suggested registration amounts for our classes and retreats (other than Wednesday night dharma talks) do not include any payment for the teacher. The teachers are paid entirely out of the students' generosity. Please consider giving a donation to the teacher in order to support their ability to continue to share the dharma. You may give a donation at the time of registration and give later donations through our teacher dana link. Everyone is welcome to all of our events regardless of ability to donate.
