In 2019 I came to Honduras on a spring break mission trip where I encountered Jesus in the people of a small mountain community. After being stripped of my comforts, I felt Jesus was calling me to something greater than the worldly life I was living. 

The call to serve Jesus continued to captivate my heart. Shortly after returning, I served with Catholic missions in my diocese, south Louisiana, and the foreign field.  

When I came back to Honduras this summer, it was like returning home. As I took part in home visits, encountered God's people, and spent time dwelling with Jesus in the sacraments, I felt overwhelming amounts of peace and joy!
