¡Hola! mi nombre es Belkys Guevara y soy de Nicaragua.
I got to know the Missioners of Christ through the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal. In 2019 I was doing a mission with the Apostolate of the Pure Heart led by the Franciscan Friars in Nicaragua. At that moment the Lord began to call me more strongly to give my life and my service in a more permanent way as a full-time missionary, but I did not know how or where. That same year I came to Honduras to do a missionary experience with the missionaries of Christ. I lived a powerful experience of finding Christ in the people I was with that week and I felt called to give myself to the mission in this community to love the little ones of the Lord.
Since last year the Lord has confirmed a great desire that has been in my heart for a long time. Some of the inspiration that have influenced this desire to be confirmed are many difficult situations that I have know during this time as a missionary for most of the people here. This desire is a call to proclaim the truth of Human Love in light of the teachings of the Theology of the Body of Saint John Paul II. Since I learned about the Theology of the Body, I felt a deep burning in my heart so that others can experience what has changed my life, but like everything new in our life, I was afraid to do it, but here I am venturing out with the grace of God. The Church has answers to our questions about sexuality, and I want to help make them know.
To be able to do this full-time I need your support , I invite you to join my team and come do this with me, it can be through your prayers or also by making a monthly donation that will help me cover personal expenses while I prepare to be external missionary next year, and dedicate myself to this full time.
