I am Kathy Andresen. I will be walking to honor my husband, Jason Andresen who was killed in December 2020. Taylor Andresen will also be walking to honor her father. Jason was a great man who always put everyone else above himself. He may be gone but he will never be forgotten. We love and miss you Jason!!!

We are walking for United Support & Memorial for Workplace Fatalities. This coming September 4, 2021 we will be joining families across our nation to walk in memory and honor of our fallen workers to support all the family members left behind at USMWF's Virtual Walkathon. USMWF offers support, guidance and resources to those affected by work-related injuries, illnesses or diseases. They are dedicated to sharing lessons learned that leads to a movement of change in promoting actions for safe and healthy working conditions. In 2019 over 5,333 men and women went to work and never came home to their family's at the end of their shift. Thousands of families are left behind to deal with devastation which takes place in the mind, body and soul and they strive to help them and others from having to go through both the grieving process and investigative process alone. It's important that they know they are not alone. In 2020 I lost my husband who was killed at work due to incident that COULD have been prevented. I will walk in memory of Jason and I also walk for all of the amazing men and women that went to work and never came home.
