End of the Road Ranch exists to provide a safety net for abused, neglected or endangered equines. We provide them with the proper care and quality of life they deserve until a loving home can be found for them. Our goal is to ensure that these animals be homed in a forever home. Equines as well as other animals are not disposable and we are dedicated to ensuring that these animals are matched with a home that will meet their needs as well as their adopters.
End of the Road Ranch is located in Grant Co. New Mexico and began taking in horses in need in 2005. The first five years of operation was totally self-funded. In 2010 the sanctuary incorporated as a non-profit and received its 501 (c) (3) status under the IRS. End of the Road Ranch is 100% volunteer run and can always use more volunteers of all types. At this time there are 27 equine residents. They range in age from 4 yrs to 25. Seven are 20 or older. Eleven of our equines have special needs. From the time they arrive here our commitment is to ensure them a safe and loving environment.
