Supporting: RUN FOR LATINOS 2022 for Latinos Progresando

I was a volunteer at last year’s Chicago Marathon and I remember feeling so inspired by all of the runners. After that morning, something in me got me to say, “I want to run the marathon next year.” Fast forward to today and here I am, excited to announce that I will be running the 2022 Chicago Marathon!

I’ve never been much of a runner so to say I’m terrified is an understatement. I'm feeling so many emotions, actually. I am terrified but equally as excited, determined and committed to training and crossing that finish line come October.

Special thanks to Latinos Progresando for allowing me to be a part of their team and for all of the outstanding work they do to help the Latino community in Chicago. When the pandemic first started, I was a volunteer with them and experienced first-hand how their efforts make such a positive impact to the community.  All of your donations will go directly to the Latinos Progresando organization and will help them continue to aid families with anything from immigration legal services, programs for survivors of domestic violence, scholarship funds for immigrant students and so much more.

Please feel free to support my journey by donating, sharing or even sending words of encouragement. Thanks in advance for your donations and support!

Mil gracias, see ya at the finish line! :)
