As many of you know, I have a passion for woodworking and building things.  Well, I have the opportunity to travel to Tanzania to help the folks with some of these things.  Some of the things I may be doing are building chicken coops, building fuel-efficient stoves, painting, repairing and maintain classrooms and community centers, helping to assemble, and plant household containers gardens.  

I'm excited to be able to provide help to those in need and to have the opportunity to engage with the people and experience a different culture from what I'm used to.  I believe this will be an eyeopening trip, and one that I'll be sharing with my best friend. 

Your donation will help provide room and board at the village during my service to the organization. Any amount raised over my fundraising goal goes directly to support the Global Volunteer organization and all donations are tax deductible.
