Hi friends,

The war in the Ukraine has impacted so many of the brave people in that country. Our family (Bill, Shaz, and our 12 year old daughters Gemma and Zoe) wanted to help the Ukranian people out in some way. So we are heading to Siedlce, Poland in July to volunteer at a summer camp for Ukranian refugee children. The trip is organized by a great organization called Global Volunteers which conducts volunteer programs around the world to assist people in need.


We'll be teaching English to the kids, playing games with them, taking them on day trips, and trying to bring some joy into their lives so they can feel like carefree, happy kids again, even if for a short while.


Typically, families raise funds to cover the $10K fee we paid to participate in the camp, but we are not asking for that- we are asking friends to consider donating to the program in Poland so the organization is able to offer more summer camps to more Ukranian kids. Thanks for helping out this wonderful program!
