Supporting: Give Grandly 2022 for Grant County Community Foundation

The mission of the Southwest New Mexico Seed Library is to nurture a community of growers and seed stewards who harvest and exchange seeds, protect the sovereignty and diversity of our local food system, and increase our community's ability to feed itself.

Give Grandly donations will be used to support seed saving activities including, but not limited to, educational handouts, workshops on seed stewardship, and purchasing supplies to support seed distribution throughout our community.

In the last year, we expanded seed distribution to satellite seed libraries in Mimbres, Gila, Bayard, and Silver City.

We view seed saving as an endeavor that will support biodiversity in our region and help our local gardeners and farmers increase our ability to feed our community with locally grown foods.

Please consider a donation to help us develop educational programs and projects around seed-saving that make our food-growing community more biodiverse and sustainable.
