In support of the Gila Valley since 2018, our aim has been to help our small community remain strong and thriving.
All through the year, especially when children are not in school, we distribute food and support to local children, home-schooled children, and families. In coordination with the Gila Valley Library's summer program, we also provide food and support to our local out-of-school children to keep our community strong. Every week we send these children home with a bag of food. In this way, we can support approximately 25 children.
Throughout the year we also provide and deliver emergency boxes of food to community residents of all ages when needed.
As part of our outreach, in 2022 we also purchased and provided the Gila Library 6 computer tablets.
Going forward, we aim to provide more tablets for schoolchildren and continue our emergency food supply to community residents of all ages.
