For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Foundation, Matt & Stacy Bodden’s (the founders) youngest son Luc was born with Sickle Cell Disease and went through the bone marrow transplant process to cure him. Although the transplant was a success Luc endured many complications and sadly passed from a blood infection. Through faith, the Bodden’s turned their tragedy in something positive with the launch of the LusStrong Foundation in 2017. Our mission is to help children with SCD who are going through the bone marrow transplant and their families by providing grants, parking vouchers, and gift cards to assist in meeting the financial challenges they are faced with.

As for the Fundraising Goal, we are hoping to raise a TOTAL of $60,000 to help at least 10 families by the end of 2022. You can JOIN my team (The Real Housewives of Dos Vientos, yea, that’s RIGHT & I will supply custom uniforms!), CREATE your OWN team. To create a team or join my team, it’s just $35.00 per player to get started.

If you don’t want to play, we have a 50/50 drawing, HUGE silent auction, tons of entertainment and fun stuff for the family and we also are looking for a few more volunteers. Specifically I’m looking for High School Baseball/Softball players to Volunteer as our Umpires, a talented Video Editor and a DJ.
