Supporting: Monday Morning Quarterback Club 2022 Campaign for Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation

When people hear about a Quarterback Club meeting in a particular city, they may get the idea it is a bunch of people getting together to grab lunch and listen to somebody talk about football. I would like to share a little bit about my experience with our organization and hope it will give you a different perspective on what we are all about.

The Monday Morning Quarterback Club was founded in 1939 and, to date, has donated over $30,000,000 to children's charities across Alabama. I was very fortunate to join the Club in 2006. That year, our Freshman class was one of the first classes to tour Children's Hospital and see the impact that institution has on the lives of the many patients and families it touches. We were given a "behind the scenes" look and were able to visit different divisions of Children's that day...including visiting with doctors and nurses who care for these children.

This season we will donate $1,750,000 through our member's fundraising efforts and through the Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation thanks to people like you. I am in my 15th year of membership and have a long list of contributors who have participated since I introduced them to our mission and am so appreciative of all of them. Our list of charities can be viewed at www.mmqbc.org as well as our history and mission. I hope you take a little time to learn more about the Monday Morning Quarterback Club and our Quarterbacking Children's Health Foundation.

We are a winning team with a playbook that supports children's medical needs in the Birmingham community.

The Monday Morning Quarterback Club of Birmingham is made up of members who are brought together by their love of football but set apart by their fundraising efforts.

This year, the club’s fundraising goal is to raise $1.25 million during the 2022 football season. Funds raised will be distributed to worthy organizations that support children and their medical needs through our Quarterbacking Children’s Health Foundation.

We are indebted to our charter members and past captains for making this great club possible. Not only do we continue to enjoy the fellowship, but serve many worthwhile purposes for others who have such great needs.
