Growing up, TVAC was always a go-to place for my family. Both of my parents are life members, and both have served as the organization's President. For as long as I can remember, I would come down to TVAC with my dad to hang out and couldn’t wait until the day I was old enough to become a member myself. When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit and I saw my parents on the front lines, I knew joining TVAC was going to be the best decision I could ever make. And boy was I right. I went from a brand new trainee to a skilled EMT.

With the help of all of the wonderful volunteers at TVAC, I grew and expanded my knowledge. I was the #4 responder in 2021, and am now the current Head of Membership and Recruiting. I have found something that makes me happy and that I am passionate about, and that is being a member at TVAC. And how extremely lucky am I to be able to do it all alongside my biggest role model, my father, and the current President at TVAC.

At TVAC, we respond to a multitude of emergency calls on a daily basis. Our ambulances are fully equipped with anything and everything needed in order to help and treat patients. Many times, an off-duty member will respond directly to the scene of a call for one purpose only - to help those in need. Unfortunately, many of our members lack some essential equipment, such as AEDs and oxygen tanks.

With your help, we can change that! By donating to our campaign, you are assisting in ensuring each and every one of our members is fully stocked with the necessary life-saving equipment.

We pride ourselves on being a 100% volunteer organization. Our patients receive the care they need free of charge. Any and every donation made to this wonderful organization is appreciated! For more information contact [email protected]

At TVAC, we take immense pride in our quick response time and high level of patient care. The average EMS response time in Bergen County is sixteen minutes. TVAC’s response time averages between 2-5 minutes. When seconds count, we dispatch the closest EMTs directly to the scene in addition to our crew and ambulance from our headquarters. This response model ensures that care can be started as quickly as possible with rapid transport to an appropriate hospital.

Currently, we do not have the resources to supply ALL of our members with a complete medical bag, oxygen tank, and automated external defibrillator (AED). We are asking you to consider a tax-deductible donation to enable our members to reduce the time to initiate life-saving treatment even further, by guaranteeing that each of our members is equipped to provide the highest level of treatment possible. Seconds really matter!

This campaign can only be successful with the generous support of the entire Teaneck community. We appreciate your generosity, and we pledge that we will always be there for you, your family, your neighbor, and your friends in a time of need. Our volunteers are your neighbors, coworkers, and even family members. Items can be donated individually (see below for prices) or as an entire “first responder kit” ($3000).
