I am a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and am proud to serve as a member of the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC). During my 8 years of membership, I have been able to build upon my patient care skills which has prepared me to become a future healthcare professional. Teaneck is my hometown and I am honored to have helped hundreds of residents over the years. It is a rewarding feeling to make an impact on the lives of many people.

At TVAC, we take immense pride in our quick response time and high level of patient care. The average EMS response time in Bergen County, NJ is 16 minutes. TVAC's response time is 2-5 minutes. This response model ensures that patient care can be started as quickly as possible with rapid transport to an appropriate hospital.

With the adoption of this response model, we face a challenge. TVAC does not have the resources to supply ALL of our members with a complete medical bag, oxygen tank, and automated external defibrillator (AED). As such, we have kicked off a campaign to raise a minimum of $100,000.00 to ensure all of our responders are properly equipped to help in every medical emergency.

With your help we can change that!

I ask you to consider a tax-deductible donation to enable our EMTs to reduce the time to initiate life-saving treatment even further, by guaranteeing that each of our responders is equipped to provide the highest level of treatment possible.

Emergency Medical Services week kicks off this year on May 15th. Our goal is to be able to celebrate this year with the ability to issue this critical equipment to our volunteers so they can continue to provide the high level and exceptional service that TVAC is known for.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, your friendship, and your support! I am forever grateful!

At TVAC, we take immense pride in our quick response time and high level of patient care. The average EMS response time in Bergen County is sixteen minutes. TVAC’s response time averages between 2-5 minutes. When seconds count, we dispatch the closest EMTs directly to the scene in addition to our crew and ambulance from our headquarters. This response model ensures that care can be started as quickly as possible with rapid transport to an appropriate hospital.

Currently, we do not have the resources to supply ALL of our members with a complete medical bag, oxygen tank, and automated external defibrillator (AED). We are asking you to consider a tax-deductible donation to enable our members to reduce the time to initiate life-saving treatment even further, by guaranteeing that each of our members is equipped to provide the highest level of treatment possible. Seconds really matter!

This campaign can only be successful with the generous support of the entire Teaneck community. We appreciate your generosity, and we pledge that we will always be there for you, your family, your neighbor, and your friends in a time of need. Our volunteers are your neighbors, coworkers, and even family members. Items can be donated individually (see below for prices) or as an entire “first responder kit” ($3000).

If you would like to make a donation in honor of a loved one or for a specific dedication. Please email us at [email protected]org.

Please consider supporting the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
