As a volunteer for two organizations, I find it incredible how dedicated these man and women are to treating and transporting the sick and injured in Teaneck. No organization deserves support like TVAC as its men and women pay for the care of the sick and Injured of men and women with their time and own money. They wake up at all hours of the night, schedule their days to allow for time to be available to respond to calls. TVAC's performance is a wonder in the EMS world because of the response times and ability to cover the high percentage of calls it does. Of any nonprofit organizations out there, TVAC by far deserves your support.

This campaign means so much to me as I have been in town at a scene where someone was having a medical emergency and all I could do for them was offer a comforting hand and communicate with responding TVAC ambulance which had the equipment the patient desperately needed. I know other members have been in similar situations and would have benefited from having equipment to treat patients until an ambulance arrived. Show these men and women how much you appreciate them by improving their ability to take care of your loved ones by having equipment with them as they are around town.

At TVAC, we take immense pride in our quick response time and high level of patient care. The average EMS response time in Bergen County is sixteen minutes. TVAC’s response time averages between 2-5 minutes. When seconds count, we dispatch the closest EMTs directly to the scene in addition to our crew and ambulance from our headquarters. This response model ensures that care can be started as quickly as possible with rapid transport to an appropriate hospital.

Currently, we do not have the resources to supply ALL of our members with a complete medical bag, oxygen tank, and automated external defibrillator (AED). We are asking you to consider a tax-deductible donation to enable our members to reduce the time to initiate life-saving treatment even further, by guaranteeing that each of our members is equipped to provide the highest level of treatment possible. Seconds really matter!

This campaign can only be successful with the generous support of the entire Teaneck community. We appreciate your generosity, and we pledge that we will always be there for you, your family, your neighbor, and your friends in a time of need. Our volunteers are your neighbors, coworkers, and even family members. Items can be donated individually (see below for prices) or as an entire “first responder kit” ($3000).
