As you may be aware, I am a volunteer every week for the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps (TVAC).

TVAC is important to me because it saves lives in our community and it teaches a lot of good things about our community at large to the younger members.

At TVAC, we take immense pride in our quick response time and high level of patient care. The average EMS response time in Bergen County, NJ is 16 minutes. TVAC’s response time averages between 2 to 5 minutes. When seconds count, we dispatch the closest EMTs directly to the scene in addition to a fully staffed ambulance from our headquarters. This response model ensures that care can be started as quickly as possible with rapid transport to an appropriate hospital.

With the adoption of this response model, we face a challenge. TVAC does not have the resources to supply ALL of our members with a complete medical bag, oxygen tank, and automated external defibrillator (AED). As such, we have kicked off a campaign to raise a minimum of $100,000.00 to ensure all of our responders are properly equipped to help in every medical emergency.

With your help, we can change that!

Please help and consider a tax-deductible donation to enable our EMTs to reduce the time to initiate life-saving treatment even further, by guaranteeing that each of our responders is equipped to provide the highest level of treatment possible.

Thank you in advance for your generosity, your friendship, and your support! I am forever grateful!

This campaign can only be successful with the generous support of the entire Teaneck community. We appreciate your generosity, and we pledge that we will always be there for you, your family, your neighbor, and your friends in a time of need. Our volunteers are your neighbors, coworkers, and even family members. Items can be donated individually (see below for prices) or as an entire “first responder kit” ($3000).

Please consider supporting the Teaneck Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Since our founding in 1939, we have never charged a patient, and we consist solely of volunteer members who receive no monetary compensation.
