Enduring without our beautiful daughter, Katerini, has been one of the most difficult challenges for our family. Since the moment she came into being, we have celebrated her as the princess and little girl God blessed us with. Every part of her and everything about her brought light into our hearts and lives...especially her diagnosis of Down syndrome. It did not define her, but it certainly, like every other part of her, aided in making her the sweet, loving, feisty, tough, beautiful and exceptionally brave littler girl we adore.
We have had the privilege of being a part of the Buddy Walk each year since being blessed with her. Our first was in 2017 while we were still pregnant with her and our last in 2021, but not final, was with her walking along with everyone, enchanting the crowd with her smile and brilliant baby blues and giving knuckle bumps to the UNR baseball team players.
While she lived a terribly short life, she truly impacted many, which we know was always God's plan. What parent could ask for more for their child, but to open others up to the beauty and grace of who they are? We're hopeful that you all once again, in the name of, for the love of and for the memory of our beautiful daughter, please help us make this Buddy Walk the best yet! We appreciate and are humbled by any amount that you are able to put forth. All proceeds will go to the Down Syndrome Network of Northern Nevada, who support our wonderful community.

Buddy Walk is our largest fundraiser of the year. This event funds us in our mission to support individuals with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities in the Northern Nevada community! Please check out our website for information on the events and resources we provide in our community.

Location: Swift Sportsdome (NEW!!!) 1465 S. Meadows Pkwy
Admission is free, with optional tiers for swag
Pancake breakfast (it's back!!)
There will be space for families to set up spots for their teams!
Participants are encouraged to create a team, and convene on the field with your team décor (popup tents are welcome!)
T-shirt order cut off is August 5th!
