Renli was diagnosed with Nephrotic syndrome at 2 years old it has been a very scary frustrating journey. The Nephrotic Syndrome Foundation has been part of her journey almost from day one! Every day more and more families are being blindsided by this disorder, This year Renli and I are hoping to donate two backpacks of hope to two families. We know how scary it is to try and figure out a new normal all while learning about this rare condition. Renli got her backpack shortly after being diagnosed, and it was so comforting to know we weren't alone in this and that we had resources! They have been an ally ever since! Every day we find more kids battling Nephrotic Syndrome, until now, without support. Backpacks of Hope offers each child a backpack full of comfort items, medical supplies and educational materials. Inside is warm blanket, Swell style water bottle, medical supplies, over-ear headphones, a gift for the patient and siblings, important educational information and much more. Each is a personal connection to others in the same journey.
