Hi all!  My name is Shani Anderson and I'm so glad you are visiting my fundraising page for Project Athena Foundation.  I learned about PAF when I did a google search looking for adventure races for breast cancer survivors.  I was so excited to learn that this organization was here!  I was diagnosed with Stage 3A breast cancer in February of 2015, underwent a double mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiation.  And I'm happy to say that 7 years later I am still cancer free.

Once I learned about Project Athena I applied to become a recipient of one of their Athena grants and was gifted the Zion Adventure Trek in 2021.  It was a life altering and eye opening experience.  Truly PAF allows survivors of medical setbacks find their strength and belief in their physical selves again.

Now it's my turn to pay it forward!  I will also be matching the first $750 dollars raised so rest assured that all the money you donate will go to the next Athena or Zeus.  Thank you so much for supporting this amazing organization :)
