Sometimes you cannot help but be awed and inspired by someone--for me that was Robyn Benicasa last year during my company's annual meeting.  Hearing her adventure stories DID NOT make me want to sleep in the jungle with leeches falling on me all night...hearing how she turned the end of her career doing eco challenges into a mission to help otherwise abled individuals accomplish amazing things had me ready to sign up with Project Athena.

SO...here I am about to start training for a rim-to-rim-to-rim (yes, that is down and up one day and then back down and back up the next day).  I will be with a group of AMAZING individuals and we will be alongside a group of otherwise abled individuals accomplish this task.  To say I am excited is an understatement.  I am BEYOND excited and beyond blessed that I CAN and WILL do this.  

I am raising money for this amazing journey and cause. Anything you can do to help me reach (and surpass) my goal is greatly appreciated.
