Hi, I’m Janie from Ontario, Canada. In June 2019 I became a left below knee amputee due to a congenital medical condition that caused chronic pain.

This past November I was an Athena, and took part in the Florida Keys to Recovery adventure. A 3-day (120-ish mile) multi sport event from Key Largo to Key West by bike and kayak.

Now I’m looking for a new goal and that is to participate in the San Diego Harbour to Cove Coastal Marathon Trek a 1-day 26.2 mile adventure!
