Hello Friends & Family,

As you know I have been involved with YFPA - Your Filipino Professionals Association for over 15 years now.  I was part of the Executive Board & Marketing Team to help launch their Scholarship Fund a few years back and more than always proud to promote and help fundraise for it.

Their Annual Scholarship Fund is now underway, here's the link to the giving page below:

https://www.flipcause.com/secure/cause_pdetails/MTY0OTY=

The fund helps to award $2,500 scholarships to college-bound high school seniors in the San Francisco Bay Area who are involved in the Filipino community.

You may find more information about our Scholarship program here:
https://www.yfpasf.com/scholarship.html

Do consider this as an opportunity to give to our future leaders in the community.  I know that YFPA gave me the platform, leadership opportunity, and the long-lasting ties in their network that have grounded me and have been nothing but good fortune to me in these past years.  Thank-you advance if you do donate.

Feel free to reach out too if you have more questions about YFPA and all the great work they continue to do to connect, educate, and serve.

Ingat and all the best,
Elle

The YFPA Scholarship Program was designed to serve Bay Area graduating high school students who are involved in the Filipino community and have been accepted into a 4 year college/university to pursue a Bachelor’s degree.

The program provides financial assistance to college-bound students who have demonstrated academic excellence, exhibited leadership potential, and engaged in serving their communities. Scholarship recipients are selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership experience, educational and career goals, essay quality (originality, grammar and organization) and financial need. All shortlisted applicants will be invited to an in-person interview.

With the support of our community and partners, we're hoping to raise a total of $7,500 for this year's scholarship program.

Awards will be $2,500 scholarships. YPFA will award up to a maximum of three (3) scholarships. Selections will be done by the YFPA Scholarship Committee and approved by the YFPA Board of Directors.
