Hello Friends and Family!

I'm excited to announce that I am back for yet another year of coaching BvB Dallas Team Blonde!  However, this year in addition to coaching and fundraising, I will also serve as one of the Ambassadors for the upcoming season.  I will act as a liaison between our amazing beneficiaries and the organization.

BvB is back at it again for our 10th season of flag football for Alzheimer's awareness. We are young professionals dedicated to raising money and to fighting Alzheimer's disease. Each year, the organization hosts a number of fundraising events including happy hours, pool parties, charity dinners, a benefit concert and a powder-puff football game at the Cotton Bowl!

Founded in 2008 by a group of motivated women, BvB Dallas is a way to honor and remember loved ones who suffered or are suffering from Alzheimer's and related diseases. BvB Dallas has experienced a blitz of success by raising more than $2.8 million dollars and recruiting over 1,000 volunteers in nine years.  But our work is not done:  A staggering 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s Disease today, which cost the nation over $236 BILLION in 2016 alone.

As most of you know, I've been coaching to honor my dear friend and client, Dana Drago, who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's four years ago. Unfortunately, Dana's courageous battle ended in February of this year when she passed away just weeks before her 59th birthday.  It will be a distinct privilege to coach in her memory this season.

I am also going to dedicate this season to Dana's best friend and primary caretaker and one of my very best friends, Misty Keown. Alzheimer's is a disease that can be harder on the families and caretakers than the one afflicted.  Misty never left Dana's side through the entire fight.  She is one of the most selfless, caring people I know and I'm so happy for the opportunity to dedicate this season to her!

With your unbelievable help and generosity last season, I was able to set the single season fundraising record bringing in a whopping $22,450!  I'm aiming high again this year and your donations will be greatly appreciated.

I could not do this without my incredible support system, YOU! I thank you from the bottom of my heart!
