I have been honored and blessed to be part of the Arms Wide Open Childhood Cancer Foundation since very early on.  Over the past 14 years I have shaved in the memory of my father, John J Beale, and I continue to today.  However, over the past 14 years I have been blessed to meet some of the most courageous people in the world and I can no longer shave in honor of my father alone.  So this year, in addition to my dad's memory, I shave for those who have shown me what real courage looks like, those who have defined love, those families who have shown me what persistence is and those that have true unyielding faith.  

So this year I'll shave for all those fighting that I have been blessed to meet and for all those I haven't.  Thank you Dena, Billy, Grace, Ava, Imke, Talia, Delaney and of course Lily.  I'll forever continue to fight alongside you and in your memory.
