Hello, friends and family!
I am proud to represent North Texas this year at the 2024 Miss Texas Competition! Although I am Miss North Texas, I am actually from Houston, Texas and intend to make our great state proud through social service and empowering the future of women's education.
In 2019 my life unexpectedly changed forever by finding out I had an extremely rare congenital heart defect that was weakening my heart's main artery. I spent a year in and out of hospitals, undergoing 12 heart procedures, until I received a diagnosis and was told I had 2 weeks to fly to California and have open-heart surgery if I wanted to live to see age 25.
This experience forced me to face our nation's deadliest issue head-on: heart disease. This is my motivation for competing for Miss Texas; because if it can happen to a 21-year-old collegiate athlete, it can happen to anyone.

Each year, the Miss Texas Organization is proud to present the Miss Texas Competition Magazine. This magazine is made available for advertisement by businesses, families and volunteers who want to promote their company, show support and wish their competing candidate Good Luck by purchasing a Magazine Showcase Page.
Our magazine is seen by tens of thousands across the nation, is sold all year long and is a popular coffee table accessory that may be viewed through out the year. Each candidate competing for the job of Miss Texas or Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, sets a goal of how many magazine showcase pages she wants dedicated just to her.
