Miss Texarkana 2023 vies for the job of Miss Texas

Supporting: 2023 Competition Magazine for Miss Texas Organization

Through 3950+ hours of community service, I have celebrated the beauty of various types of diversity while using my gifts to bless others. I have worked with our seniors, homeless, impoverished, medically fragile children, kids in foster care & individuals with differing abilities.  I set out on a mission to “Be the change I wish to see in the world” (Gandhi). Although my original intent was to use my gifts to bless others, I am the one who has been truly blessed

I wish to leave a legacy of open eyes, open minds and open hearts. My hope is to empower children and young adults to embrace their own uniqueness, as well as the uniqueness of others. It is important to not just acknowledge and tolerate, or even accept, but to respect, value, and appreciate that we are ALL unique and celebrate that diversity makes us stronger together. This mindset has led me to develop my social impact initiative, Celebrate Y.O.U.- Valuing Our Differences.

My experiences have prepared me to seamlessly step into the role of Miss Texas. I am equally comfortable speaking to 3,000 people as I am speaking to a small group. My diverse background and upbringing enable me to naturally connect with various ages, demographics, and communities. Gandhi also said, “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” I love serving others and have had the opportunity to lead by example and impact numerous lives. I am confident that these experiences have given me the skills to leave a legacy of service as a role model to others.

My next goal is to use the job of Miss Texas as a vehicle to impact even more lives across the entire state and beyond. Your support of this goal means the world to me.  By sponsoring me in the Miss Texas magazine, it not only helps raise scholarship funds, but it shows I have the backing & following of my community & friends, which assists in the overall branding of the organization.  Most importantly, it shows I am ready for the job!

Each year, the Miss Texas Organization is proud to present the Miss Texas Competition Magazine. This magazine is made available for advertisement by businesses, families and volunteers who want to promote their company, show support and wish their competing candidate Good Luck by purchasing a Magazine Showcase Page.

Our magazine is seen by tens of thousands across the nation, is sold all year long and is a popular coffee table accessory that may be viewed through out the year. Each candidate competing for the job of Miss Texas or Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen, sets a goal of how many magazine showcase pages she wants dedicated just to her. Thank you in advance for your support.
