Campaign has ended

In January I will be running the Dopey Challenge at 48.6 miles.  I have chosen to run for a charity called  JAR OF HOPE. This is a non profit to help find a cure for DUCHENNE MUSCULAR DYSTROPHY.  I had a student a few years back diagnosed with this and have watched his journey. I'm inspired by not only his attitude, courage, and beautiful sense of humor but also how his family has pushed through to give him the best life possible.

I'm honored to be able to raise money for JAR OF HOPE as they continue to raise money for  families and raise awareness.

Thank you for supporting me in my efforts. Taking the charity bib not only makes me happy to help but also accountable in my own journey to finish and complete this event.

JAR of Hope is running its 7th consecutive runDisney Marathon Weekend. We are running this event bc Jamesy and 11 other boys are going to be in a clinical trial at the University of Florida. Yes, this is going to be the first of its kind Stem Cell Clinical Trial to see if we can improve the quality of life. We want to make a HUEG IMPACT in this disease. No child has ever survived Duchenne. Its been 200 years and we need to change that! Thanks to everyone on this team this year we are going to do just that!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining this team and giving me the opportunity to help save my son's life and other people alike.

Warmest regards,

How would you like to support?
