I met Jim and his fantastic group of humans during the Grand to Grand Ultra this past September; they were running for JAR of Hope and trying to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. That race and that group of individuals have changed my life, and I am honored to be able to run with them this weekend.
I rune these races with Jar of Hope because unlike many of these children who are affected by this horrible disease, I run because I can. This disease sadly robs them of their ability to walk, run, and play.
Any donations to Jar of Hope is directly helping to save Jim’s son's life, along with all the others with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, so that we can cure this terrible disease and save the first child from it.

JAR of Hope is running its 7th consecutive runDisney Marathon Weekend. We are running this event bc Jamesy and 11 other boys are going to be in a clinical trial at the University of Florida. Yes, this is going to be the first of its kind Stem Cell Clinical Trial to see if we can improve the quality of life. We want to make a HUEG IMPACT in this disease. No child has ever survived Duchenne. Its been 200 years and we need to change that! Thanks to everyone on this team this year we are going to do just that!
