Please help me support Homeward Bound of Marin by making a tax-deductible donation through my Sing for America fundraising page. It's difficult to even imagine what it's like to experience homelessness. Homeward Bound of Marin began in 1974 with a single family shelter. Now celebrating its 50th year, it operates five shelter programs and 13 supportive housing programs for families, seniors, veterans, people challenged by mental illness and others working their way out of homelessness. To help people build new opportunities, Homeward Bound offers culinary job training and supportive employment in mission-driven businesses like Wagster Dog Treats and The Key Room event venue. To celebrate its 50 anniversary, Homeward Bound plans to open 50 new apartments this year for unhoused veterans and people transitioning back to the workforce.
Between now and April, I’ll be rehearsing with the Sing for America Chorus for the Annual Benefit Concert at 7 p.m. on April 7, 2024, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. The Gala Concert this year "De Terra ad Astra (from the Earth to the Stars)" features guest emcee Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager), over 100 singers and an orchestra!
I hope you will be able to attend the Gala Benefit Concert on April 7. Please use "SFA105" in the coupon box at City Box Office for a $10 discount off the $45 ticket price. Here is the link to BUY TICKETS.
It's going to be a terrific show!
Thank you for any amount you can give to help those in our community who are homeless and let me know if you will be attending the concert!
Together, we can make a difference!
