Sing For America Campaign for Nebraska CASA Association

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page!

Please help me support Nebraska CASA Association by making a tax-deductible donation through my Sing for America fundraising page. The process is fast, easy, and secure.

What is is Nebraska CASA Association? Nebraska Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Association is a network of 22 community-based programs that recruit, train and support citizen-volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children in courtrooms and communities. Volunteer advocates—empowered directly by the courts—offer judges the critical information they need to ensure that each child’s rights and needs are being attended to while in foster care.

During my time as a foster care specialist, I partnered closely with many CASA volunteers. It was clear that these children relied heavily on their CASA advocates, who provided unwavering support during a tumultuous period in their lives. These volunteers undergo thorough training and must meet specific qualifications to serve effectively. They collaborate with social workers, attorneys, and other professionals in the foster care system to ensure the best interests of the child are met.

Between now and April, I’ll be rehearsing with the Sing for America Chorus for our Annual Benefit Concert at 7 p.m. on April 7, 2024, at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco. Our Gala Concert this year "De Terra ad Astra (from the Earth to the Stars)" features guest emcee Robert Picardo (Star Trek: Voyager).

I hope you will be able to attend our Gala Benefit Concert on April 7. Please use "SFA191" in the coupon box at City Box Office for a $10 discount off the $45 ticket price. Here is the link to BUY TICKETS

Even if you can't donate right now, you can help me reach my fundraising goal by sharing this page on social media or email. Just click the share icons near the top of my page to help me spread the word.
