Many people in my family have sickle cell disease. I have watched them suffer for years.  I am joining this fundraiser as team captain and have recruited a kickball team on behalf of all of those who still suffer and those we lost! We will raise funds to help families with kids with sickle cell anemia and kick some butt on the field.  We won the trophy last year- not for kickball but for fundraising.
