Sierra HOPE began as an all volunteer organization during the middle of the AIDS pandemic. Sierra HOPE continues to provide services for people with HIV/AIDS and continues education about AIDS, Sierra HOPE also provides transitional housing for homeless people as well as supporting long term housing for homeless people. Sierra HOPE is in the process of remodeling a downstairs portion of the transition house (Hope House) to provide 3 bedrooms with a shared living space, kitchen and bathroom. The new beds will be available for transitional housing for Medi-Cal patients who lack housing where they can continue their recovery after discharge from the hospital. Sierra HOPE also provides food pantry access on Wednesdays at the Sierra HOPE office to provide people with supplemental food. Won't you please donate to the walk on Saturday, September 21, 2024. Better yet, register to walk with us and start asking for donations. The Sierra walk for HOPE will be at Calaveras Big Trees State Park.

Please join us in our 2024 Walk for HOPE and raise funds and awareness in the community of the services provided by Sierra HOPE.  This walk in the woods is an opportunity to come together with others who care about those who need assistance and to raise funds to continue these services.
