Meet Mel!

Hi, I’m Mel Ibrahim, a 14-year-old choir major at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Singing has been a huge part of my life for the past 6 years, and my passion for music continues to grow every day. I’m the eldest of four siblings, which comes with its own set of responsibilities, but I love being a role model for them. When I'm not immersed in music, I enjoy playing soccer, a sport that keeps me active and competitive. As for music, my favorite artist is Travis Scott, whose creativity inspires me, but when it comes to singing, jazz holds a special place in my heart. There’s something about its rhythm and soul that makes me feel truly connected to the art of music.
