Hi, my name is Saaketh. The kid I am holding in the photo is Siddharth. He is 11 years old, and a student at Allampally Jeeyar Gurukulam. When he grows up, he wants to become a professional cricket player. It's been over a year and a half since I went on my VTSEVA internship where I met so many kids like Siddharth who have many aspirations, whether that be being the first person in their rural family to earn a college degree, or being one of the first visually challenged person to win a silver medal in the Asian Paralympic Games.

$365 can support a visually challenged student or a student from rural villages in India to get an education, food, and clothes for an entire year. That's just $1 a day! Together, let's empower these kids and build a bright future.

Please join us in our noble campaign to:

  • Educate visually challenged students
  • Educate underprivileged tribal students
  • Continue to support other VT Seva local and outreach projects
  • Empower our young volunteers to define, own, and execute the service projects they are passionate about serving the community
