2017 Nigeria Medical Mission Trip

Supporting: Rise & Walk: Medical Mission to Nigeria for The GEANCO Foundation

Campaign has ended.

This will be my 7th time to Nigeria, and my 4th medical mission trip to Anambra State.  Just like the past mission trips, we are raising money to help send essential staff to Nigeria to assist with the overall surgical effort.  From nurses to sterile processing staff, we can not run this trip without their help.  Many people on this trip take unpaid leave to help the poor and debilitated.  The cost of travel, food, and lodging for the entire team is immense   Money raised will also help offset the shipping costs of over 2000lbs of medical supplies.  We need your help.  So give as generously as you can.

Our goal is to operate on 40 patients in 5 days and replace severely arthritic hips and knees.  Many of these patients are post traumatic meaning they have been walking on broken bones that have either mal-united or never united making their surgery even more complex and challenging.

Thank you for your donation.

From November 10 - 19, the GEANCO Foundation ( will undertake a special medical mission to Nigeria.  For the fifth time, GEANCO's surgical team will perform hip and knee replacements on poor patients there, where the need is almost unimaginable.

Each of our mission team members is working hard to raise money to help defray travel expenses and the cost of our supplies and equipment.  Your donation will help us impact so many lives, please give generously!

Thank you in advance for your support!
