Hi! My Name is Michael "Thunderbird" Burke, and I am polar plunging for the Special Olympics of Arkansas! I used to do this with friends back in my home state of Minnesota, we even had a team called the Purple Plungers. Now that I live down here, I would love to do the same thing for my new state. 

      I love the Special Olympics, and everything they stand for, helping those of us with disabilities have the same opportunities that others have. So please donate to help kids and young adults with physical issues realize that we could have a successful life. For some of these kids, it's the only time they can feel "normal", and they deserve the chance to feel like just a kid. And all it costs you is a few dollars, to put a smile on a kids face. Maybe it's your kid, or a neighbor, or a family member, but all it takes is the cost of a cup of coffee to put a smile on a child's face. Its so worth it!
