How would you like to support?

Why I'm Here

I am a first-generation college graduate with my B.S. in Human Biology from the University of California, Merced. I owe a lot of my progress and accomplishments to the numerous individuals who I have had the fortune to call my mentors. My journey to becoming a physician was sparked by my interest in the human body and urge to medically serve underserved communities, much like the ones in my own community. My mentors have inspired and reminded me to always pay it forward and to lift while you lead. This is exactly what MiMentor is about, to inspire, connect, and succeed not alone but as a community. I joined MiMentor to find support from like-minded individuals, to share what I have learned along my journey and to help others find their footing. I am fortunate to be able to run the medical school application marathon with a support system by my side. A donation to MiMentor is an investment in the next generation of healthcare leaders for underserved communities.
