Hello, my name is Griselda Aguilar, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer for MiMentor 2020-2021 board. I am a proud Fresno State alumna and the first in my family to pursue a career in medicine. With MiMentor I have a community of mentors and mentees, who share resources and empowering stories that keep me moving forward in the direction of my goals. Because of MiMentor, I have applied to scholarships covering the cost of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) course and participated in a year-long Medical School Ready (MSR) series to prepare me for the medical school application process. Through MiMentor I have grown tremendously as a leader, mentor, and mentee.
