I’m planning to run across the Sahara desert in the Marathon des Sables 6 day stage race covering 250km in order to raise funds and awareness for my fellow Africans who are in need of bicycles. Each participant must carry his/her own backpack containing food, sleeping gear and other material.
Can you afford to buy a child a bike?
Did you know that most rural, school age children in Africa have to walk or run many miles each day to attend school? By distributing bicycles to rural African learners, this project bridges the gap between having a dream and being able to achieve it.
