Join Trish and me in raising money for this wonderful cause! Israel Sports Center for the Disabled is committed to empowering children and adults with physical disabilities from all backgrounds to participate in physical and psychological rehabilitation through sport so that they can lead productive and successful lives in Israeli society. We are proud to be new supporters of ISCD and are looking forward to our first Good Wheel Bike Ride March 29-April 4, 2019 and making new friends during what will be ouir first trip back to Israel in 7 years.
Here is the link to my article “Why I’ll Be Cycling in Israel This Spring” that originally appeared at ReformJudaism.org
The 2019 Good Wheel bike ride took place in April in the north of Israel – the Golan Heights, the Upper Galilee, and the northern Mediterranean shores – combining an approximate 150-mile ride over four days and touring opportunities through beautiful and fascinating sites and attractions.
Good Wheel benefits the Israel Sport Center for the Disabled (ISCD). The ISCD is a home away from home to around 2,500 Israelis of all ages, where the unique merits of sports are utilized to strengthen body, spirit and mind. At the ISCD, people with disabilities are empowered to become fully integrated members of society.
Your donation will have a significant impact on the lives of thousands of men, women, and children with disabilities who rely on ISCD.
The 2020 Good Wheel bike ride will take place October 18-22, 2020, and be held in the south of Israel.
