The Crowminator

Congratulations!  You've reached my fundraiser page!  If your reading this you probably know me in some way or another.   If not, I'm Jesse Crowe, I enjoy long walks on the beach (with my wife, of course) and I put honey in my morning coffee...Weird, I know.

Dear Friends, We had a great Fall Fundraiser but we fell short of our goal. So we are extending it to serve as our Year-End Campaign as well. God's word this year has been "Expansion" for us. One that he's providing for and igniting. We've served more inmates, prison units, college students, pastors, men, and ministry leaders than ever before. And we're asking you to help launch Encounter into 2019 for continued expansion. We need to raise a total of $120,000 moving forward.

Will you help us bring Freedom and Life in Christ and join the Adventure with us by making a one-time year end or a recurring donation?

If so, please click one of the donation buttons on this page or send a check to

Shoulder to Shoulder,

For over 14 years Encounter ( has worked from Alabama to Africa to play a vital role in the restoration of hearts in the world and bring freedom and life in Christ to hurting and hungry people. The money from this fundraiser will fuel mission work in 4 main areas:

Spiritual Direction: Encounter provides spiritual direction and intervention to couples, families, men, and pastors in crisis. Many don't have a safe place to discuss the struggles of their lives or help interpreting what God is up to in that life. We work closely with them to move toward freedom and a deeper life walking more intimately with Christ.

College Ministry: Encounter is in it’s sixth school year of ministry to college students. Johnny Lieske, our Campus Minister is entering his fourth year working to reach students by creating an environment at The Campus House to provide a place for students to connect, study, engage God, and develop community. Jamie Dodson, our Associate Campus Minister is entering his second year serving at the Campus House, as well as entering his senior year at UAB.

Prison Ministry: Encounter trains, equips, and takes teams into prison to facilitate weekend events for inmates. Based on John Eldredge's Wild at Heart Boot Camp, inmates learn how to uncover the wounds dealt by the evil one, turn to God for healing, and to walk with him inside and outside the walls of the prison unit. In the last seven plus years we’ve served over 1200 inmates. This year we will have 5 ftrips to prisons in Texas, serving over 300 inmates, and training a new team of 8 new volunteers to lead at a new location for us in Abilene.

Humanitarian Outreach: Through our partnership with LifeTrek Global, Encounter continues to raise funds, provide basic humanitarian needs and educational fees for orphans, and abandoned children because of the HIV epidemic

Encounter (aka Man Adventures, Inc.) is an IRS approved 501(c)3 all donations are tax deductible.
